Personal Story

30+ years building the Internet — and on it.

From the earliest days of the web through infrastructure, marketplaces and video platforms all the way to investor and corporate communications: a more personal look at the stations that shaped me.

  1. 1993 – 1998/01

Developer when the Internet came to the world

Started 30+ years ago as a software developer right when the public Internet was born — shipping early websites, CGI scripts and the first generation of online services.

  2. 1998 – 2002/02

    Building Point-of-Presence infrastructure

Designed and rolled out PoP infrastructure — racks, routing, peering and the physical backbone that brought the early Internet to businesses and regions.

  3. 2000 – 2005/03

Early startups — marketplaces & local commerce

Co-built an eBay clone, a mytys-style platform and cojac.net — a community for local shopping via Google Maps, long before 'social commerce' or 'local discovery' had names.

  4. 2006 – 2010/04

zaplive.tv — live UGC video platform

Built zaplive.tv, a user-generated live video platform in the spirit of Facebook Live and YouTube Live — years before either existed at scale.

  5. 2008 – 2012/05

    wam.tv — self-publishing for musicians

Created wam.tv, a platform empowering musicians to self-publish — distribution, audience and monetization in one stack, well before today's creator economy.

  6. 2011 – 2015/06

    troxxo.com — video-based UGC

    Launched troxxo.com — a platform around video-based user-generated content, formats, channels and community-driven storytelling.

  7. 2015 – today/07

WTVglobal — Investor & Corporate Communication

Investor and operator at WTVglobal — Investor Relations and Corporate Communication services for listed companies, from strategy to broadcast-grade production.
